It has been a long time since I’ve worked on freelance project. But times change, and I’m coming back to be my own boss again. I’ve missed all that variety of projects you get to work on, and interesting people you get to work with. I will focus now on responsive web and UI design, as well as designing web and native apps for iPhone and Android.

Trip to New York

Last week I was in New York City. The primary goal was to attend conference “Future of Web Design 2011″.

Two days of talks and one day workshop. I’ve attended to Josh Clark (@globalmoxie) workshop “Designing Great iPhone and iPad Apps”. It was amazing experience learning all that stuff and designing dream application. Overall conference was very good and greatly inspired me.

After 3 day learning it was time to explore the city. One thing I realized very quickly – New York is too big to put it in pictures.

Not only conference or people you meet but New York City itself will inspire you . It’s a great city and it has very good energy.

One of many “must-see” places in NY is MoMA. It really changes your perception of art and design.

A variety of exhibitions in 5 floors is a lot of stuff to explore.

When you are tired of all that rush, Central Park is the place to go.

Quiet, beautiful and peaceful place. Even though a lot of things are happening there it is great place to escape from city rhythm and relax.

So find an excuse for yourself, pack your bags and visit New York City. I’m coming back there once I get a chance.

Last friday I finally decided to go out and take some shots for HDR processing. Well, to be honest I was expecting to come back home with more good shots. But still I can say shooting was successful. This is the first shot I took.
